Fresh home storage tips:

Store at room temp 3 to 4 days, uncovered, out of direct sunlight until ripe. Can refrigerate only when fully ripened, unwashed, but it will affect flavour.

Side note: Refrigeration stops ripening and affects flavour, making tomatoes mushy & tasteless.
